How it all started
Like most mums, the thought of returning to a 9-5 job whilst on maternity leave didn’t sit well with me. I wanted to stay home with my baby boy and be present for all those important milestones. So in 2017 I started a side gig as a resume writer. In small pockets of time, I built a career services business supporting women return to work with confidence through coaching, interview preparation and application writing. 18 months later I added VA services to my business model, helping SME’s with their admin, recruitment and marketing and within 4 months I was fully booked working less than 20 hour weeks around my toddler.
After building 2 successful businesses I wanted to teach other women how to create success online too, so 3 years ago I moved into VA Coaching.
Where we are at now
Since 2021 I have supported almost 200 women build their work from anywhere business
The Startup Virtual Assistants Australia community has grown to 5,000 members
I have created a range of group coaching, mentoring and self paced study options to help women build and grow their VA business
